A FRUIT

This morning I ate wonderful fruit. When I ate it I thought of  writing about it.

This is a tropical evergreen plant & in sub tropical countries old leaves fall off and new leaves appear at one time of year. It also contains important  antioxidants & polyphenols. It is considered a Vitamin C rich fruit and contains only 250 - 1800 mg of Vitamin C per 100g of fresh fruit pulp. It is used to make many medicines. It is also said to have five flavors: bitter, bitter, sweet, sour and salty. So this wonderful fruit is Nellie. Some also call this Medicine Nellie (බෙහෙත් නෙල්ලි) .

Nellie fruit has many benefits for us.
