Good bye 2020👋👋👋

 Today is the last day of  the year 2020. Today is December 31,2020. How did I feel this year? Actually, but for me, this year is not as bad this year😔. That is because it was a year in which many dreams were blurred and many goals were laid but the goals could not be achieved. One of the most important dreams of mine was to study physically at the University of the visual and performing art this year as a student of the university. But online and that's where I got in touch with the university. That's because of the disaster this year is the corona epidemic. Not only me but the whole country stopped because of corona. But fortunately the technology was so advanced that it was possible to get a little closer to those big goals.

If I talk further this year I will have to face a lot of sad events this year😢. The main thin is that my dancing teacher, who was like my second mother, got sick cancer. I was very shocked by that. But now she is recovering so I am a little happy about that. I wish her a speedy recovery. 

This year has brought sorrow and joy closer to my life😀. The main thing is that I met a lot of fellow students in my university, some of whom are my own brothers and sisters. I also met many of my favorite artist as my lecturers.

Finally I hope to forget all the troubles that happened this year and take all the good things that happened and move on to the new year which  starts tomorrow. I also wish my parents and my family happiness everyday and that I do not meet bad people. And I sincerely wish  the  strength and courage to pursue all the goals I missed. And I wish to save the whole country and the whole world from the corona menace.

Today is my Grandfather's birthday.🎉🎉🎈🎉🎉🎊

 My grandfather's name is G.M. Thilakarathne. He is  my grandfather , but I called him  "dad". actually I love him very much. He celebrate his sixty-seventh birthday today. So we all went to my grandfather's house this morning. We went to the temple with him today.  He is a man of great virtue, humility, and respect for others. He is loved by all of our family and neighbors. So the family as the well as the villagers are very fond of him. He helps for my education. In fact, words about him are indescribable. In the truest sense of the word, he is a good father, husband, grandfather and good neighbor. I wish always he would live my life and live with us again and be reborn in the future.

Very happy day for me😊

Today is Christmas day. Actually I am a Buddhist but with one mind I wish our Christians today Merry Happy Christmas. Today has been wonderful day for me. That's because Christmas today. After greeting my friends in the morning, I spend most of my time with the TV. I watched a lot of dramas and programs related to Christmas today.

 I watched the HEARTFELT Christmas   program on Swarnawahini. I think Christmas really celebrated meaningfully trough that program. With an epidemic in the country, they had involved artist, three forces, police STS as well as doctors and nurses. Our artists spent Christmas meaningfully with them. I really enjoyed it and I watched it from the same house but my heart felt the greatest happiness. I also watched the 'U Turn' film and a program called dance with Christmas. I was very happy because as a Buddhist, I was able to celebrate Christmas like this. It was very happy day for me. And also I taught a math lesson to a sister in the neighborhood. It was also a great pleasure for me because I was able to help someone.

ONE MORE AMAZING EVENT

 One day a friend sent a request to my face book account. I checked his account. Normally I don't add People I don't know to my account, but when I checked his account I felt I should be friend with him. He is 23 years old and  his name is Isuru Nandana. I checked his photos. I thought he had some sort of accident. I like to help the needy in a word. So, I thought I'd chat with him. When I talk to him, he replies to my messages. I was able to find out what happened to him. He told me his history.

He is a talented volleyball player. This incident happened in 2017. He went to the sea to play volleyball and bathe with his friends. Then he got together with his friends and played with the wave.  he was beaten in the sea. Unfortunately, he fell on a rock. His spinal cord ruptured after hitting a rock. The accident left him paralyzed from the bottom of his heart. He knows that his illness will never be cured. That incident touched my heart a lot. 😢

Now his life is spent with his mother, father, brother and sister. His brother and sister are married persons. When I asked him what he was doing, he told me, sister; I mostly listen to sermons. Also, since I can't walk, I use a wheel chair to go around the yard and look around. He is accustomed his to his life and lives happily with thoughts. He said it was great pleasure for him to talk to me. S I still give him a happy conversation whenever I can. Even If I can't cure his illness, I always try to make up his mind with a word.

The strangest man I met today

 Today I met a wonderful man trough the ELTU unit. His name is Dr. Sudesh Manthillake. He is The head of the Department of Fine Arts at The university of Peradeniya. He told us How English helped him for his personal Journey. 

He said he went to seventeen English classes to learn English. When he was was 1st grade in University he met a Professor named Merlin Peiris. According to him,  this professor has told them wonderful things. Dr. Sudesh on the 1st day at the university, Professor Merlin Peiris said that, "subject are easy to learn but English is difficult to learn." So he said to try to learn English. Also Professor Merlin said an important thing is that, " English is a magic key" . That because la\earning English means that this magic key can open anything that can't be opened. that is why Dr. Sudesh believed this valuable saying. So he has learned English and Is currently touring many countries and sharing his Knowledge with others. 

He also said that Professor Sunil Gunasekara  is another teacher who has made an impact in life. He believed what Professor Sunil said and learned and practiced through it. In this person helped to Dr. Sudesh to go abroad.

There are lot of things I have added to my life today through his character. We have to face any challenge in life without fear and we have to overcome it successfully. According to him, he should have done the GRE exam in three times. So it is clear that we must face the challenges and overcome them. In today's world knowing just one language is not enough. Therefore, we need to learn different languages and that is another experience that I have properly added to my life through him. 

He is a performance dancer. He was also a prolific speaker. He is the head of fine art department at The University of Peradeniya. He has lectured in many countries. English has helped him to become a prominent figure in the society. 

As Professor Merlin told Dr. Sudesh. and Dr. Sudesh told us to find the magic key, own the magic key and develop the magic key. So I thought .like Dr. Sudesh that I would find the magic key, own it, develop it and one day make a name for myself in a high place in our country.  

I was able to meet a wonderful man named Dr. Sudesh today because of Dr. Sumudu and lecturer Deshanee. So, I always offer my heartfelt thank for our madams.💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏

Who am I ?

 When a lot o people try to understand others I try to understand who am I . For some, it is a funny topic, but I think It's nothing more complicated than that. According to William Shakespeare, that whole world is a theater and we are the actors and actress who act in it. So in that sense I am also an actress. That is because I also act in a relevant  manner according to the relevant place. I explain it like this.

To my family, I am a family member. I'm just another neighbor to my neighbors. I was brilliant student at my school. I am a certain student to my university. I am a another friend to my friends. To my best friends, I am a crazy, kind ,honest and good friend. I am a another sister to my brothers and sisters. I am a dhamma teacher for my Dhamma school. I am a loving student as well as a disciple in front of my teachers. So I play a lot of different roles like that at different times. 

who am I really? 

So, If I mentioned it briefly, I am another human being who has brought a number of souls from all over the world and acquired a human nature. In that  spirit I am born to my mother and father. they call me Nipuni Harshadi. So everyone calls me by different names like, Nipuni, Nipu ,suddi, menika etc.. I am now 21 years old. I studied at Kuli /  S.W.R.D. Bandaranayke national school and I am currently studying at The University Of the Visual and Performing art. I am the eldest of three children in my family. Also I am a student studying dance.

I feel like we all have good qualities as well as bad qualities. So as I see it, I have those qualities in me too. Most of the time I am innocent, loving, sensitive, kind, sincere hearted, someone who understands the other, who always help others. But in front of evil people I am an evil stubborn and stubborn character. 

I think so, I am a person who lives a very simple, light and fun life. And I am someone who lives in the moment. I'm a person who walks the earth no matter what I get in my life.  With my  heart I help everyone as much as I can. I try to Always stand up for what is right and speak out of injustice. I feel like doing something, I will definitely try to my best to do it. And the girl, I recognize in me is a girl with strong, determination and dedication.

 And I have a goal ,and I will pursue my goal somehow. I know  the road ahead is not as beautiful as it used to be. I know there are different people on both sides of the road and they are interfering with me. But I try to go as far as I can.

I always try to understand who am I and my strengths and weaknesses. So for me my family, my teachers and friends and relatives help me with that. So I try my best to get to know myself but I know this. There may be many people in this world who have the name Nipuni. Because there is a story that there are seven people like that. Everyone this world can be better than me. Maybe those guys are worse than me. They can imitate me. Imitate me and be mine. But no one can ever imitate me and be like me. Because even though there are so many people like me, but no one can create the man in me called Nipuni Harshadi.

I'm still studying and learning who am I .So I invite everyone to get know who are you. So try to identify the bad qualities in you , the strength and the good qualities. 

My Hobby.

 Anyone has a favorite thing to do in their life. Many people call it  "hobby". There are many different hobbies in the world.  There are many hobbies like reading books, walking with friends, travelling and surfing the Internet .

Like everyone else, I have something in my life that I love to do. I find it not only fun but also comforting to life and satisfying to the mind. I will mention it like this. We are so girls. Girls like to look like flowers and see beautiful flowers. So what If you have your own flower garden to make your own home? Very happy, isn't it? Yes I experience that happiness. That is because my hobby is growing flowers. There are a lot of beautiful flowers all over my yard. I grow a variety of flowers, such as roses, "samanpichcha" ,shoe flowers, first love, sword etc. 

I get up early on the morning and go to se the flower garden. When I go to the flower garden, various beautiful insects like butterflies and bees come to drink the nectar of the flowers. I'm watching them drink nectar from their little weeds. They quickly go from flowers and collect nectar. Really love to wait for it.

Also, when the flower buds and large blossoms of the newly planted flowering plants are in full bloom, I feel wonderful .Here are some of the ones I found to be interesting:

My parents helped me a lot to grow these flowers. Everyone  in my family is happy because of the hobby I do. So I'm happy too because I do the smallest thing for someone else's happiness. I hope everyone like me embraces a hobby that brings inspiration and meaning to their lives.

Blood soaked in milk my life was enriched

Mother's day the scent of your flowers also remained regular

Mom, you are the healer of life.

Today is rainy day.

 I woke up in the morning feeling cold. Although Hurricane " Buravi " passed away yesterday, the whole environment was dark. The whole darkened environment is kissed by the rain mother. The " kichi bichi " sound that is often heard is no more today. The flower bloom and feel like the are smiling, but I feel that the rain drops cause them a slight pain. 

During the rainy season, little birds spread their wings out of their nets and spent time with their families. Then I want to be a bird too. But even though I felt they were free, they were really in unbearable grief. Whatever it is,  they show us their happiness out of sorrow. So they teach us number of lessons. I also learn lesson from it. With those lesson of the little birds, no matter how bad the weather is, I still attend my lectures as usual, despite the harsh interruptions of wind and rain. Although it is difficult to attend lectures with the rain, it does bring a refreshing feeling to the mind.

 

No matter how tired I am from attending lectures, my mind never gets tired on a rainy day. I  have fun with the rain no matter how busy I am. When I jump in the rain, I let my last raindrops kiss and touch me. I walk along the tiny little waterways that grow in the rain. The cold I feel in my legs when I walk like that wakes up my whole body. So today I woke up with the rain and paid with the rain and today ends with the rain. It is a great  sadness that this day end like this. But the experience gained today, the happy things can be regained only on a rainy day.
